20 of Grenada Media Workers Officially Ends Seminar For Journalists And Editors In Beijing,China

It was a life changing experience as 20 of Grenada’s media workers got to know, see and experience China’s media and culture, during a three week seminar. IMG-20160530-WA0005

The three week programme officially closed on Monday 30th May.  Liu Yung Vice president of the research and training institute of state administration of press publication, radio film and television of China (SAPPRFT) while speaking at the closing ceremony stated that she observed a deeper understanding of China and its media.

IMG-20160530-WA0006She also applauded the delegation for their   team spirit and friendliness. She urged the media delegation to be pioneers in developing a stable and durable friendship.

Sheena Phillip Lynch from Wee Fm Grenada delivered the vote of thanks. During her presentation. She said that the initiative is an opportunity to see aspects of China differently, while strengthening cooperation. She also urged her colleagues to embrace the opportunity.IMG-20160530-WA0002
Xi kai director of the liaison office of human resource development urged the delegation to join the hundreds of youths taking up scholarship opportunities in China.

The group of 20 will return in two batches on June 1st and 2nd.
