Prime Minister Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell leads a CARICOM delegation on a visit to several Hurricane Irma-stricken Islands tomorrow and Wednesday (September 12th and 13th).
The team, which includes the Secretary General of CARICOM, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, and the Executive of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Ronald Jackson, will leave via the RSS plane from Grenada on Tuesday morning.
Their first stop is the British Virgin Islands, followed by Anguilla in the afternoon. They will spend the night in Antigua, and visit Barbuda early Wednesday, before returning Prime Minister to Grenada.
This is the first of several visits in an expression of solidarity and support to all our regional brothers and sisters affected by Irma.
Details will follow soon.
