Spice Princesses Win First Match In The Jewels Of The Caribbean Girls U15 Tournament 

The National U15 Girls team copped their first win in the Jewels  of the Caribbean U15 Girls Tournament against Dominica on Monday 15th August, 2022.

In the fast paced match, 15 year old Abigail Williams who attends MacDonald College quickly  registered her 3rd goal of the tournament, in the 6th minute of play.

Then, 12 year old Emma Francis (St.Andrew’s Anglican Secondary) followed up with a precision  goal in the 35th minute of play, her first for the tournament.

The lone response from Dominica came from Kenisha Jno Baptiste in the 55th minute.

In the closing minutes of the match, Team Grenada found the net again but the referee did not  allow it.

This win will certainly give the young ladies a boost of confidence going into their 3rd match  against St.Lucia on Wednesday 17th August, 2022 at 5pm.

After two matches, Grenada is in second place on the leaderboard, behind hosts Antigua and  Barbuda due to goal difference.
