St. George’s, Grenada – A wave of excitement is sweeping through Grenada’s volleyball community as both the Senior Male and Female National Teams have officially qualified for the ECVA Top 4 Finals – a premier showdown featuring the top four ranked countries in the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association.
This announcement, made earlier this week by the ECVA, marks a significant milestone for Grenada’s volleyball program and opens a direct pathway to the prestigious NORCECA Pan American Cup. The stakes are high, and the competition promises to be fierce as the best in the region square off for regional dominance and international opportunity.
The Men’s ECVA Top 4 Finals are scheduled for September 19–22, followed by the Women’s Finals on September 26–29, both to be held in Antigua.
Though these tournaments were not originally on Grenada’s competitive calendar, the national program has embraced the unexpected opportunity with determination and a renewed sense of purpose.
“This is a golden opportunity for redemption and success,” said a representative from the Grenada Volleyball Association. “We are seizing the moment to rise, regroup, and rally.”
With the announcement, Grenada now has four national teams in active training – a testament to the island’s growing commitment to the sport. Preparation is already underway, and coaches and athletes alike are laser-focused on representing the nation with pride, strength, and unity.
