Grenadian Athletes Set To Shine At 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Grenada will have a strong presence at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place from June 11 to 14 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Six standout athletes from the Spice Isle have qualified to compete at the prestigious collegiate event, proudly representing their country on one of the biggest stages in U.S. college athletics.

In the individual field events, Kelsie Murrell-Ross (Shot Put), Sharie Enoe (High Jump), and Jamora Alves (Discus) will all take part, each holding national records in their respective disciplines. Their qualification marks a major milestone for Grenadian field athletes at the NCAA level.

On the track, Nazzio John, Jared Sylvester, and Aaron Charles have secured spots on their universities’ 4x100m relay teams, bringing Grenadian speed to the relay events. These athletes will showcase their talent during the men’s competition days on Wednesday, June 11, and Friday, June 13.

The women’s events will be held on Thursday, June 12, and Saturday, June 14, with Murrell-Ross, Enoe, and Alves vying for top honors in their fields.

As Grenada’s footprint in collegiate athletics continues to expand, these six athletes are leading the charge, proudly flying the national flag and demonstrating the island’s growing strength in track and field.
