The Nations League 2018: Curaçao Beats Grenada 10-0

WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao, September 10, 2018 – Grenada’s Spice Boys kicked off campaign in The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Nations League Qualifiers at the Stadion Ergilio Hato in Curacao with a 10-nil thrashing by Curacao.

This is the worse defeat for Grenada Senior Men’s Team with the previous being a 7-nil loss at the hands of Trinidad and Tobago in 1999.

Curacao were the main aggressors also creating their chances and getting their go ahead goal in the 11′ when Elson Hooi found the back of the net.

Grenada has not qualified for the Gold Cup since 2011 and are hopeful of qualifying this time around providing a top 10 finish.

Grenada will play their second match of the League at Kirani James Athletics Stadium on October 12 against Cuba.
