Grenadian NYPD Officer donates to Bishop’s College

Lieutenant Nimrod Ollivierre, a born Grenadian serving in the New York Police Department (NYPD), made a generous contribution to one of Carriacou’s Secondary School, Bishop’s College.

Over E.C $7,000.00 worth of lazer jet inks, notebooks and other stationary items were donated to assist in the day to day functions at the institution.

Lieutenant in the New York Police Department, Mr. Nimrod Ollivierre, said that an integral part to a child’s success in school is to ensure they have proper classroom supplies in which he’s happy to be a part of at Bishop’s College.

He added that having spent a large portion of his childhood living in the community of Belair, his heart is and forever will be connected to Carriacou.

Principal of Bishop’s College, Ms. Indra Scott, in receiving the items extended her deepest gratitude to Mr. Nimrod in choosing Bishop’s College.

She noted that she’s certain the items will be put into good use to assist in the education of students at the school.
