Release Ministry of Carriacou & Petite Martinique Affairs
Beausejour, Carriacou – January 27th, 2019- As part of Grenada’s 45th Independence activities for Carriacou and Petite Martinique, a church service was held earlier this morning at the Thy Kingdom Come Deliverance Sanctuary in Carriacou.
The service was held under the theme, ‘Building Resilience and Enhancing Social and Economic Transformation.’
The first reading was taken from Joshua 1: 1-9 and was done by the Minister of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, Hon. Kindra Maturine-Stewart.
Pastor of the Thy Kingdom Come Deliverance Sanctuary, Pastor Happy Akasie, in his sermon, embarked on the importance of unity and working together in building resilience and enhancing social and economic transformation.
He added that one strong attribute of Grenadians are love for people regardless of religion, political affiliations or race.
The Carriacou Rally for Grenada’s 45th year of Independence will take place on Thursday, 31st January at the Hillsborough Playing Field from 9am.
