Effective November 1st 2019, there will be an increase in the passport fee.
The new cost for a passport will be $250.00.
That announcement was made by Minister of Legal affairs Hon Kindra Maturine-Stewart during Tuesday’s Governments Post cabinet briefing.
On 17 July 2018, the E-passport was launched here in Grenada. This is a specific passport that has specific biometric features and a radio efficiency identification chip.
Prime minister Mitchell during the launch of the new machine readable passport stated that the $175.00 previously charged was a subsidized cost and that will change after a specific period.
