Government’s Negotiating Team (GNT) and the negotiating team from the Grenada Union of Teachers met Thursday for the third round of negotiations for wage increases for the nation’s teachers, for the contract cycle 2020 to 2022.
There was continued movement on both sides, with respect to the demand being made by the union and the offer presented by the GNT. Both sides have expressed confidence that agreement can be reached at the next round of negotiations which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29.
The GUT represents about 1,500 teachers across the country.
