The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development, Religious Affairs and Information signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Grenada Schools Incorporated, for the continued building of libraries, increasing educational achievement and growing learners, with a focus on early years literacy, which will positively impact school communities of all public primary schools in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Grenada Schools Inc. is a Grenadian, non-profit organization, with headquarters at Harbour Drive, L’ Anse Aux Epines, St. George. Its sister charity organization, Grenada Schools Ltd., is located in the UK.
The main donors and Head Governing Body are Mr. Michael Sherwood and Mrs. Melanie Sherwood, of the UK.
