Effective October 7, 2021, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) has implemented a COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy for employees of the organization and its GTA facilities. In accordance with best practices for the industry and the requirement that visitors to Grenada must be vaccinated, this new policy takes into consideration GTA’s obligation to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all its employees.
As GTA employees are at a high-risk of exposure to COVID-19, GTA’s COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy is designed to safeguard our employees and their families, tourism stakeholders and visitors to our shores, as well as the wider Grenadian public. This policy is in keeping with GTA’s mandate to develop all aspects of the tourism industry of Grenada and to secure the most favourable arrangements for the entry of tourists in Grenada.
Protecting the nation’s lives, and livelihoods in the tourism industry is of paramount importance. We continue to build a sustainable and resilient Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
