Hosted by one of Grenada’s most innovative all-inclusive resorts, Sandals Grenada, ITV filmed three six-minute segments that will air on This Morning throughout November 2021, the first of which aired  November 22nd, 2021. Philip Vickery, an English celebrity chef has been the chef on This Morning since 2006. When asked about the decision to make Grenada a featured destination and their experience on the island, Harry Bott, Producer/Director at This Morning said, “Grenada is known for being the Spice Isle so it only made sense for us to explore the culinary delights that the destination has to offer.  Grenadian cuisine is home to a variety of vibrant and beautifully spiced dishes so we couldn’t wait to give our viewers a taste of Grenada’s unique flavours. Our experience was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the dreamy scenery including the unspoiled beaches and luscious green hills to the breathtaking waterfalls and unforgettable dive sites, it’s no wonder Grenada is one of the most sought-after islands in the Caribbean.”

Speaking on this exciting broadcast opportunity, Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA), said “We’re looking forward to this wonderful broadcast opportunity with ITV, as we continue to welcome travellers back to Grenada with open arms. With restrictions continuing to ease, this opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time as the filming will allow us to further promote Grenada as a must visit destination for international travellers.”
