Non-Pariel Pre Primary School in St. Mark was the recipient of a 20-inch gas cooker and twelve 20lbs gas cylinders, thanks to Hubbard’s and SOL. This philanthropic gesture brought Christmas smiles to occupants of the learning institution, since they are now more equipped to provide hot meals, a crucial factor in a child’s development.
At a brief handing over session held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, Ms. Cox, Teacher in Charge, expressed her sincere gratitude to Hubbard’s and SOL for the generous contribution; “On behalf of Non-Pariel Pre Primary School, I would like to say a grand thank you to Hubbard’s and SOL for helping us with the transition from a firecracker to a cooker along with the energy to fuel it. There are two factors that I want to emphasize- firstly, the quick response from Hubbard’s, and secondly, the additional package, that is the cooking gas from SOL. We are very grateful for the assistance from these companies, and I can assure you we will use this donation to enhance our lunch programme. We are so proud of you, and we realized that you all are into the development of the nation’s children.”
Mr. Anthony Phillip, Manager of Hubbard’s Appliance Department, and Mrs. Kesha Charles, Marketing Manager of SOL, made the presentation. Mr. Phillip also emphasized Hubbard’s commitment to giving back to communities; “We are more than happy today to present to Non Pariel preprimary school a 20-inch gas cooker. We know the importance of the gas cooker to any house or School, and we did not hesitate to assist when they came to us for assistance. As a company we know we need to give back to the organization, we need to give back to schools, we need to give back to the country. We know that the children are the future of the nation, and we should assist them in any way possible. We collaborated with SOL and SOL was more than happy to work with us in this venture.
Mrs. Kesha Charles, Marketing Manager at SOL shared; “Today SOL is elated to partner with Jonas Brown & Hubbard in enhancing the ability of the school in providing hot meals for the students. SOL’s contribution today is a supply of 1-year worth of cooking gas towards the school feeding program.”
The children at the school expressed gratitude to Hubbard’s and SOL by singing a thank you song.
