ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA- The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Forestry is offering for sale to registered farmers, fertilisers obtained through an arrangement between the Government of Grenada and the Kingdom of Morocco.
The following fertilisers are available in 100-pound bags:
1. Triple Super Phosphate (TSP)
2. Mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP)
3.Di- ammonium phosphate (DAP)
4. NPSB – contains 18% nitrogen 37.7% phosphate and 6% sulphate
🔷Fertilisers will be distributed from the Mirabeau Propagation Station, Mirabeau, St. Andrew from 9:00 a.m. to noon daily.
🔷Distribution began on Tuesday, and will continue while supplies last.
🔷The Ministry advises that fertilisers will be sold ONLY to registered farmers on the presentation of the Ministry of Agriculture issued Farmers ID Card.
🔷Farmers will be sold a maximum of five bags of fertiliser. Requests for larger quantities will have to be approved by the Extension Division, Ministry of Agriculture.
Farmers are encouraged to use the fertilisers as recommended by the technicians at the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Forestry.
