ECCB Governor On Country Outreach Mission In Grenada

The Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Timothy N. J. Antoine is continuing his 2022 round of Country Outreach Missions, with engagements in Grenada from 24 – 27 October.

Governor Antoine and his delegation paid a courtesy call on Governor General Her Excellency Dame Cecile La Grenade on 24 October.

Later that day, the team met with Cabinet and delivered a presentation titled: Building Resilience and Propelling Transformation.  The presentation focused on: International Economic Developments; Regional Monetary and Macroeconomic Developments; Developments in Grenada; The Role of the ECCB in Regional Development; and Selected Ongoing Initiatives the ECCB is undertaking in keeping with its Strategic Plan.

The Governor and his delegation also held discussions with Leader of the Opposition,
Dr the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell and other members of the Opposition.

On Wednesday 26 October, the Governor and his team will hold discussions with social partners, bankers and media practitioners.

The ECCB’s delegation to Grenada includes: Chief Director (Policy), D. Tracy Polius; Economist for Grenada in the Research, Statistics and Data Analytics Department,

Leon Bullen; and Senior Technical Assistant in the Corporate Relations Department,
Marlon Bristol.

As part of his 2022 round of Country Outreach Missions, the Governor visited Anguilla in May, Montserrat in June, Saint Lucia in July and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in September.
