Grenadian athlete and Olympic champion Kirani James continues to shine for his country as he finished first in the final of the Neutrogena Men’s 400m at the 2024 USATF NYC Grand Prix on Sunday.
James, who ran in Lane 6, stormed to first place in a time of 44.55s, a season best.
The USA’s Chris Bailey finished second in 44.73s while South Africa’s Wayde Van Niekerk placed third in 44.74s.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Jereem Richards finished fourth in 44.82s, a season best, while Jamaica’s Zandrion Barnes placed seventh in 46.23s.
