The New National Party (NNP) proudly announces the election of the Honorable Emmalin Pierre as its new Political Leader. Party delegates made the historic decision during the NNP’s convention today in Telescope, St. Andrew.
Hon. Emmalin Pierre’s election marks a pivotal moment in the party’s journey. She becomes the first woman to hold this esteemed position, embodying the NNP’s enduring commitment to progress, inclusivity, and visionary leadership.
In her acceptance remarks, Mrs. Pierre expressed heartfelt gratitude to the party’s delegates and reaffirmed her dedication to the principles and mission of the NNP. The NNP also welcomes its newly elected executive members, whose leadership will support Mrs. Pierre in her efforts to guide the party forward:
