St. David’s FC And North Stars Earn Promotion To GFA Premier League

The Division 1 season concluded last weekend with St. David’s FC and North  Stars securing their spots in the Grenada Football Association (GFA) Premier League. The final matches  held last weekend determined the top teams, with St. David’s finishing in first place with 48 points, three  points clear of North Stars.

St. David’s FC showcased remarkable consistency throughout the season, leading to their promotion.  “Getting promoted is a dream come true for the players and the fans. We are ready to take on the  challenges of the Premier League,” said the head coach of St. David’s FC Curt Rennie.

North Stars also celebrated their promotion, finishing the season strong to clinch the second spot in the  standings. Their dedication and teamwork have been pivotal in this successful campaign. “This is a huge  achievement for our club and our supporters. We have worked hard all season, and it’s rewarding to see  our efforts pay off,”commented a spokesperson for North Stars Geverson David.

In contrast, the season ended on a disappointing note for Sunjets United and Class Herb Roots, who  have been relegated to Division 2. Both teams faced tough competition and will have to regroup as they  look to rebuild and return stronger next season.

The promotion of St. David’s FC and North Stars to the GFA Premier League marks a new chapter in  their history and opens up fresh opportunities for both clubs. Fans can expect thrilling matches as they  compete against the best in Grenada football next season.
