
ST GEORGE’S, GRENADA – Athletes from the Grenada Boys Secondary School (GBSS) are set to compete at the 2025 Penn Relays, one of the premier track and field events in the United States. The prestigious meet will be held from April 24–26 at Philadelphia’s historic Franklin Field and features an electrifying lineup of relay races, including the 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m events.
Representing GBSS on this international stage are Kashay Stephen, Josh Thomas, Jaylon St. Louis, Jaiden Pierre, Nathan Hillaire, Antwoin Alleyne, Nathaniel Alfred, and Rishon Daniel. These young men, accompanied by Coach Vaughn Joseph and Principal Kenny James, are ready to showcase their talent, determination, and school pride against some of the best high school athletes in the world.
The Penn Relays attract a diverse and competitive field—from standout high school sprinters to elite collegiate runners and world-class club athletes. It serves not only as a platform for emerging talent but also as a celebration of athletic excellence and sportsmanship on a global scale.
