The 2025 Chevening scholars for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean were officially announced around mid-August this year. Commonwealth Scholarship recipients were also named this month.
Trellona Charles, Johnathan Andrews and Aquila Pierre are the three Grenadians who are part of the wider Chevening cohort of Scholars from this region. Trellona will pursue an MA in Public Relations and Strategic Communications at City, University of London; Johnathan will pursue an MSc in General Structural Engineering at Imperial College London; and Aquila will pursue an MSc in Money, Banking and Finance at Lancaster University.
The Commonwealth Scholars are Isha Harford and Allisha Alexander. Ishma will pursue a Master’s Degree in Health Services Improvement and Evaluation at the University of Oxford, while Allisha will pursue a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Leicester.
