Prime Minister Hon Dickon Mitchell was well received by staff at the Ministry of\u00a0Finance, a major portfolio under the Prime Minister\u2019s leadership, when he continued his\u00a0ministerial visits on Thursday.<\/p>\n
During a brief discussion with staff, PM Mitchell highlighted areas of importance that he\u00a0plans to address in short order.<\/p>\n
These include greater use of technology in government business with the goal of going\u00a0paperless, and the regularization of the staff in the next twelve to eighteen months.<\/p>\n
Hon. Mitchell said the government does not possess a \u201cmagic wand\u201d to fix all issues, and\u00a0he highlighted the need for all workers to give one hundred percent in the performance of\u00a0their duties, as increased productivity will ensure successful output and alignment with\u00a0\u00a0the government\u2019s priorities.<\/p>\n
Leaning on the people first team-spirit approach, the Prime Minister encouraged Heads of\u00a0Divisions to place greater attention on workers\u2019 health and safety whilst consistently\u00a0improving their physical working conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
