The National U15 Girls team copped their first win in the Jewels\u00a0 of the Caribbean U15 Girls Tournament against Dominica on Monday 15th\u00a0August, 2022.<\/p>\n
In the fast paced match, 15 year old Abigail Williams who attends MacDonald College quickly\u00a0 registered her 3rd\u00a0goal of the tournament, in the 6th\u00a0minute of play.<\/p>\n
Then, 12 year old Emma Francis (St.Andrew\u2019s Anglican Secondary) followed up with a precision\u00a0 goal in the 35th\u00a0minute of play, her first for the tournament.<\/p>\n
The lone response from Dominica came from Kenisha Jno Baptiste in the 55th\u00a0minute.<\/p>\n
In the closing minutes of the match, Team Grenada found the net again but the referee did not\u00a0 allow it.<\/p>\n
This win will certainly give the young ladies a boost of confidence going into their 3rd\u00a0match\u00a0 against St.Lucia on Wednesday 17th\u00a0August, 2022 at 5pm.<\/p>\n
