The Governor General, Her Excellency Dame C\u00e9cile La Grenade,\u00a0 will leave the country today to attend the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth\u00a0 II in London, United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
The State Funeral will be held on Monday, September 19, at Westminster Abbey. Her\u00a0 Excellency Dame C\u00e9cile La Grenade will be accompanied by Grenada\u2019s resident High\u00a0 Commissioner in the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Kisha Abba Grant. The Governor\u00a0 General is also expected to hold an audience with His Majesty King Charles III during her\u00a0 visit.<\/p>\n
The Governor General will return on September 21, 2022.<\/p>\n
