It was a celebration of partnership and a reaffirmation of the Company\u2019s commitment to provide continuous support.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Grand Anse Home\u00a0for\u00a0the Aged, Bel Air Home for Children, Grand Bacolet Rehabilitation Treatment Centre, Hillview Home for the Aged, St. Martin\u2019s\u00a0Home, Cedar\u2019s\u00a0Home, Charles Memorial Home,\u00a0Dorothy Hopkin\u00a0Home, Missionaries\u00a0of\u00a0Charity\u00a0\u2013 Pomme Rose\u00a0and the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children were the recipients of the 2023 instalment of\u00a0an\u00a0annual\u00a0GCPI\u00a0grant to Care Institutions.<\/p>\n
The representatives\u00a0conveyed appreciation\u00a0for this year\u2019s\u00a0grant\u00a0as well as\u00a0Grenlec\u2019s support\u00a0during\u00a0the\u00a0dark days of\u00a0the\u00a0COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
As\u00a0Mrs.\u00a0Chrisma Blair,\u00a0Manager of the Grand Anse Home\u00a0for\u00a0the Aged\u00a0stated,\u00a0even during the\u00a0COVID\u00a0Period, Grenlec gave generously.<\/p>\n
This\u00a0sentiment\u00a0was\u00a0echoed\u00a0by Mrs. Lisa Charles, Manager of The Bel Air Home for Children\u00a0and\u00a0Adolescents,\u00a0who\u00a0emotionally\u00a0recounted\u00a0how\u00a0joyous the surprise was\u00a0when\u00a0they received COVID support grants in addition to the annual disbursements.<\/p>\n
In\u00a0her remarks,\u00a0Prudence Greenidge, Grenlec\u2019s Corporate Communications Manager, thanked the staff\u00a0of the respective\u00a0Care\u00a0Institutions\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0excellent job they\u00a0do\u00a0in caring for children and the elderly,\u00a0who have served our nation and are deserving of quality care.<\/p>\n
