The Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government is giving full support to the 2023 Carriacou Regatta Festival.<\/p>\n
This was confirmed by Permanent Secretary Javan Williams in a meeting with members of the Carriacou Regatta Committee which included President Leo Joseph.<\/p>\n
PS Williams said the committee should place emphasis on the development of the sailing aspect of the Regatta by building a cordial relationship with boatmen.<\/p>\n
Government\u2019s subvention to the Festival is $150,000. PS Williams said organizers can expect other support in the execution of the oldest sailing Regatta in the region.<\/p>\n
A media launch of the Carriacou Regatta Festival is scheduled for, 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 7th, at the Mermaid Beach Hotel Conference Room.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Regatta will be held from August 4th\u00a0\u2013 7th, 2023 under the theme, \u201cTimeless Culture On The Sea\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
