The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade & Export\u00a0 Development informs that Grenada and the Republic of Kenya have signed a Joint Communiqu\u00e9\u00a0 Establishing Diplomatic Relations.<\/p>\n
On the Margins of the high-level week of the 78th\u00a0Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78), Grenada established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Kenya.<\/p>\n
Honourable Joseph Andall, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade & Export Development and his\u00a0 counterpart Dr. Alfred N. Mutua, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs, signed\u00a0 formal exchange of Communiqu\u00e9, strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two\u00a0 countries in political, economic, trade, cultural and other fields of mutual interests.<\/p>\n
Strong emphasis was placed on critical areas that can broaden their relationship, signalling an\u00a0 unwavering commitment to coordinate efforts to ensure bilateral relations are strengthened to\u00a0 foster a deeper strategic alliance between the two nations, especially as CARICOM is recognised\u00a0 as Africa\u2019s Sixth Region.<\/p>\n
