Grenada is making strides in advancing its energy sector with innovative plans\u00a0 and strategic collaborations. This is in view of the just-concluded pivotal appraisal mission hosted\u00a0 January 23-24, 2025.<\/p>\n
The mission hosted by the Ministry of Climate Resilience, the Environment, and Renewable Energy,\u00a0 and led by the World Bank and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), focused on the\u00a0 Caribbean Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility, an initiative aimed at\u00a0 transforming the region\u2019s energy landscape.<\/p>\n
This exercise brought together key stakeholders to present an overview of the facility and collect\u00a0 critical insights to shape the project\u2019s development.<\/p>\n
The facility\u2019s overarching goal is to increase the share of utility-scale renewable energy across\u00a0 Caribbean nations, fostering energy resilience and sustainability.<\/p>\n
Grenada, alongside St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is at the forefront of this initiative,\u00a0 positioning itself as one of the leaders in renewable energy adoption within the Organisation of\u00a0 Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) subregion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
