This festival aims to provide young female athletes an opportunity to showcase their\u00a0 talent and passion for football.<\/p>\n
Scheduled for March 1, 2025, the festival invites girls born on or before January 1, 2012, to participate\u00a0 in a series of matches and skills assessments. The GFA is keen on identify players who will represent\u00a0 Grenada in future tournaments. This initiative not only aims to develop the sport at this level but also\u00a0 encourages female participation in football, a sport that has been gaining popularity among girls in the\u00a0 region.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to ensure that young girls have the chance to pursue their dreams on the field,\u201d said Carl\u00a0 Lee, General Secretary of the GFA. \u201cThis festival is a wonderful opportunity for them to demonstrate\u00a0 their abilities and potentially join the national team. We are excited to see the talent that Grenada has\u00a0 to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n
