Three promising young Grenadian cricketers\u2014Cleavon Bartholomew, Kurt Murray, and Kirsten Murray\u2014have been named among a 20-man provisional squad for the Windward Islands Under-19 team. The announcement was made by Windward Islands Cricket Board Chairman of Selectors, Craig Emmanuel, during the closing ceremony of the 2025 WINLOTT WICB Under-19 Cricket Championship, held at Olympic House in Grand Anse, Grenada.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese 20 players have been selected to attend a training camp in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,\u201d Emmanuel stated during his remarks. \u201cFollowing the camp, the final 14-member squad that will represent the Windwards in St. Kitts will be named.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emmanuel listed the full squad, which includes standout names such as Stephan Pascal, Theo Edward, Lluvio Charles, Kodi Grant, and Devonte McDowell, along with Grenada\u2019s Bartholomew and the Murray duo, who impressed throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n
The 2025 WINLOTT WICB Under-19 Championship concluded earlier that day with the sixth and final round of matches. Grenada ended their campaign with a dominant eight-wicket win over St. Vincent and the Grenadines at Progress Park, while Dominica edged Saint Lucia by six runs at Tanteen Playing Field to secure the championship title.<\/p>\n
