The\u00a0Grenada Tourism Authority\u00a0(GTA) says Air Canada is expanding seasonal service between Toronto and the spice island of Grenada, with the addition of a second weekly flight on 02JUN, 2025. The new Monday service will complement the existing Sunday flight and run through 31AUG, 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo further entice travellers, Grenadian hotels are offering exclusive summer deals for the Canadian market. Sandals Grenada, for example, is offering up to CAD$1,300 off select vacation packages,\u201d the GTA said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith additional flights between our two countries, we\u2019re excited to enhance our vacation package offerings to Grenada this summer and continue supporting travel to the Caribbean,\u201d said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations.<\/p>\n
\u201cCanada remains one of our most important source markets,\u201d said Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the face of potential softening demand out of the U.S. and broader economic uncertainty, it is imperative that we respond decisively by strengthening our position in markets that demonstrate resilience and strong outbound potential. Canadian travellers\u2014buoyed by a favourable exchange rate and growing interest in authentic, off-the-beaten-path destinations\u2014are showing strong booking momentum for the summer.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir tendency for longer stays and deeper community engagement provides outsized economic value across our tourism value chain. This expansion is a strategic move to diversify risk and reinforce the long-term sustainability of Grenada\u2019s tourism industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
In addition to Sandals, Grenada is home to such posh places as the Spice Island Beach Resort, Silversands Grenada and Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada.<\/p>\n
