ST. GEORGE\u2019S, GRENADA<\/strong>\u2013 The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) proudly announces its successful participation in the 43rd Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) Marketplace, recently held in Antigua.<\/p>\n

As the Caribbean\u2019s largest and most influential tourism tradeshow, CHTA Marketplace 43 convened hundreds of industry buyers and suppliers to spotlight the region\u2019s diverse and dynamic tourism offerings. The GHTA, in close partnership with the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) and Minister of Tourism, Hon. Adrian Thomas, proudly represented Grenada as a premier travel destination.<\/p>\n

This strategic collaboration demonstrated the unified efforts of Grenada\u2019s tourism stakeholders to elevate the island\u2019s global visibility and tap into emerging and diverse markets.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights of the event was the Caribbean Travel Forum<\/strong>, where attendees gained valuable market intelligence from leading organisations such as Forward Keys, Tourism Economics, and Mastercard. The event also featured the inaugural Direct Booking Summit<\/strong>, which focused on empowering Caribbean hoteliers with strategies to boost direct bookings and increase revenue retention.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled with the outcomes of CHTA Marketplace 43,\u201d said Arlene Friday, CEO of the GHTA. \u201cThis event provided an invaluable platform for networking, exchanging innovative ideas, and charting a path forward for Caribbean tourism. Our joint efforts with the GTA and the Minister of Tourism were pivotal in presenting Grenada as a united and vibrant destination.\u201d<\/p>\n

The GHTA showcased a wide array of Grenadian hotels and tourism experiences, generating considerable interest among international buyers. This exposure further cements Grenada\u2019s status as a must-visit destination in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

As the global travel industry continues to rebound, the GHTA reaffirms its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that support sustainable growth.
