The Grenada Football Association (GFA) will host two significant\u00a0 international friendly matches for the Senior Men\u2019s National Team, scheduled for October\u00a0 2025. These highly anticipated fixtures will see Grenada take on the British Virgin Islands\u00a0 (BVI) on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, followed by a clash with Cuba on Saturday, October\u00a0 11th, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These matches are poised to be vital components of the GSMNT\u2019s ongoing development,\u00a0 tactical refinement, and preparation for future competitive campaigns within the\u00a0 CONCACAF region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The match against Cuba will mark a significant milestone in Grenadian football history, as it\u00a0 will be the first time Grenada host the Cuban national team on home soil.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

GFA General Secretary, Carl Lee, emphasized the significance of these encounters: \u201cThese\u00a0 friendly matches are absolutely vital for the continued development and readiness of our\u00a0 Senior Men\u2019s National Team,\u201d said Lee. \u201cThis provides invaluable experience, allows our\u00a0 coaching staff to test tactics, and helps us assess player performance as we build towards future\u00a0 competitive fixtures, including the CONCACAF Nations League and World Cup Qualifiers.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Grenada Senior Men\u2019s National Team has been focused on building a stronger squad, and\u00a0 these friendlies will offer crucial opportunities for players to hone their skills and gel as a unit\u00a0 ahead of the demanding international schedule.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, The Senor Women National Team will on 29th November play their first match\u00a0 of the Concacaf W Championship Qualifiers against Costa Rica at the Kirani James Athletics\u00a0 Stadium.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
