On September 1, 2025, at the Palais de l\u2019\u00c9lys\u00e9e (Presidential Palace) in Paris, His Excellency Raphael Joseph presented his Letters of Credence to President Emmanuel Macron, accrediting\u00a0 him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to the Republic of France,\u00a0 with residence in the Kingdom of Belgium.<\/p>\n
During the short ceremony, Ambassador Joseph conveyed the desire of the Government of\u00a0 Grenada to strengthen the already friendly relations that exist between both countries, through\u00a0 deeper cooperation and collaboration in areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
President Macron congratulated Ambassador Joseph on his appointment and reassured the new\u00a0 Envoy that the Government of France will work with Grenada, particularly on Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management, Cultural, Linguistic and Educational matters, as well as\u00a0 Information and Communication Technology.<\/p>\n
The French head of State intimated that he was confident that through enhanced engagement\u00a0 with the Oversea Territories of Martinique and Guadeloupe, relations with the wider Caribbean\u00a0 Community will definitely grow from strength to strength.<\/p>\n
