Four of Grenada\u2019s top bodybuilding and fitness athletes have been officially selected to\u00a0 represent the nation at the Central American & Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding & Fitness\u00a0 Championship in St. Lucia from September 24th to 28th\u00a02025. The selected athletes are\u00a0Andrew Hyacinth, Athlete of the Year 2024 and bodybuilder; Odel Cato, Athlete of the Year\u00a0 2023 and men\u2019s physique competitor; and newcomers Keron Collier and Javon Joseph,\u00a0 competing in bodybuilding and men\u2019s physique, respectively.<\/p>\n
The Grenada Bodybuilding, Weightlifting & Fitness Federation hosted a General Meeting on\u00a0 Saturday, September 6th at the Grenada Trade Center, which included final screenings for\u00a0 the CAC-bound athletes and initial assessments for those preparing to compete in the\u00a0 Grenada Olympia Glory Games 2025 with the Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship\u00a0 scheduled for November 8th\u00a0and Strongman on the 15th\u00a0of December.<\/p>\n
The session was led by IFBB Pros Damion Daniel and Vonne Francis, with Daniel\u00a0 emphasizing that the CAC Championship is the premier regional bodybuilding event and\u00a0 expressing confidence in Grenada\u2019s continued success on the international stage.<\/p>\n
Grenada\u2019s PRO Strongman and Federation Vice President Marcus Alexander encouraged\u00a0 athletes to participate in the upcoming Glory Games, calling it a vital platform for\u00a0 showcasing local talent. He also urged government, community supporters, and the public\u00a0 to rally behind the sport which is experiencing rapid growth across the nation.<\/p>\n
