Team Grenada welcomed the inaugural visit of the Viking Sun on Tuesday 8th January,2019.<\/p>\n
The ship’s captain and crew members were greeted onboard by a Grenadian delegation led by Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Dr. Clarice Modeste Curwen and including Grenada Tourism Authority CEO Patricia Maher, local agents George F.Huggins and Company Ltd., the Grenada Ports Authority and Customs.<\/p>\n
The Tourism Minister presented a commemorative plaque to the ship captain speaking of Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean’s many offerings to cruise passengers.<\/p>\n
The Viking Sun which is Grenada’s 7th inaugural cruise call this season has\u00a0a capacity of 930 passengers and 430 crew.<\/p>\n
The 8th and final inaugural cruise call is the MSC Magnifica on the 18th of January,2019. Please see attached photos.<\/p>\n
