Prime Minister, Dr the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell has received assurances that Grenadians will continue to benefit from the country\u2019s bilateral relations with Singapore.<\/p>\n
During a recent courtesy call, Singapore\u2019s Plenipotentiary Representative to the Caribbean Community, Karen Tan said about 70 Grenadians have benefitted from training courses in Singapore in the past. Tan said the provision of such training opportunities will continue.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister expressed Grenada\u2019s appreciation for all opportunities that serve to advance the empowerment of persons. He said, \u201cCapacity building is important to the national agenda. There are several areas of opportunity within the local economy and we must develop the human capacity to maximise the benefits to be derived from those opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr Mitchell cited Singapore as a good model in terms of economic transformation and cited possible collaboration in the area of small business development.<\/p>\n
