Our \u201cDahSay\u201d Riddim seeks to highlight the many facets of MOSS International\u2019s\u00a0musical catalogue. Once one of the Caribbean\u2019s premiere musical acts, MOSS<\/p>\n
International is widely accredited with the formation of the Jab music genre.<\/p>\n
This project however, spotlights the band\u2019s unique interpretation on the sound of the\u00a0French Caribbean known as Zouk, which was fused into what is known as \u201cLaBaye\u00a0MuZiK\u201d.<\/p>\n
The \u201cDahSay\u201d Riddim project is a remake of MOSS International\u2019s 1990 zouk record\u00a0\u201cDance the night away.\u201d<\/p>\n
The release date for this 5 piece set is June 26th, 2021.<\/p>\n
As part of the #LaBayeMuZikProject, the \u201cDahSay\u201d Riddim seeks to marry historical\u00a0elements and traditions with contemporary artists and creatives, while highlighting these\u00a0collaborations on new media platforms.<\/p>\n
The Riddim features some of the industry\u2019s leading artists and trending personalities.<\/p>\n

Jab King\u00a0<\/b>featuring\u00a0<\/i>Pinky Fabulous\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
This is the first time Jab King, who is largely considered the king of the Southside, will be featured together with Pinky Fabulous. A social media influencer & artist with strong ties to the entertainment and fashion industry, southside of the isle, and the trendy youth movement on the island.<\/p>\n
Skinny Banton\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
An international Soca artist with multiple international hits to his resume. His contribution on the \u201cDahSay Riddim\u201d is one more added to his list of hits. DBDB<\/p>\n
CRYAVE\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Emerged on the Soca scene in 2019 with his mega hit \u201cGenie Lover.\u201d CRYAVE is the voice of the future.<\/p>\n
Hasty Hd\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
This Riddim marks the resurgence of Hasty Hd formerly known as Hasty on the soca scene. Hasty takes control of this timeless rhythm and produces an instant classic of his own.<\/p>\n
We welcome back the man that gave us the infectious hits, \u201cAnaconda\u201d (Maranda) and \u201cDaylight\u201d just to name a few.<\/p>\n
Valene Nedd\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Known as the Queen of Grenadian Soca.<\/p>\n
Valene represents LaBaye like only she can.<\/p>\n
With a realistic storyline, she effortlessly delivers melodies and harmonies that will have you dancing the night away.<\/p>\n
This project features the legendary producer\u00a0Nordley Fredrick<\/b>,\u00a0Clint \u201cDeva\u201d Abreham of MPS studio,\u00a0<\/b>and executive producer Ian Charles of JambalaseeGrenada.<\/p>\n
Nordley Frederick is the mastermind behind the mid 90\u2019s Jab Music Revolution. Known popularly as Phattracks, his musical contributions span an unprecedented terrain. His\u00a0Rhythm Mix catalogue\u00a0<\/b>and his notable, hit-defining projects such as and not limited to\u00a0Tallpree\u2019s \u2018Old Woman Alone\u2019, Scramppy\u2019s \u2018Mr. Kurkus\u2019, Papa Jerry\u2019s \u2018Police\u2019, Mario Castle\u2019s Catholic\u00a0<\/i><\/b>and\u00a0The Cellphone Riddim (<\/i><\/b>first soca Riddim produced in Grenada)\u00a0<\/b>to name a few provide evidence of this.<\/p>\n
Clint \u201cDeva\u201d Abreham is featured on the project in an effort to merge the new age with the foundation of yesteryear. One only has to look at his production of the international hit \u201cSoak it good<\/i><\/b>\u201d by Skinny Banton, his mega hit \u201cKeep calm\u201d and his many heavily rotated riddims to understand the impact Deva has had on the industry so far.<\/p>\n
We pay homage to one of MOSS International\u2019s founders, core members, band\u2019s manager and the bassman who created this infectious and timeless bass line. Our Riddim artwork is dedicated to Leon Charles, the Funky Calypso guru.<\/p>\n
The infusion of the French Caribbean basslines with the FunkyCalypso being produced by the DonCharles lead MOSS International from #LaBaye ,African drums and the good old fashioned music fundamentals, evolved another dimension to the sound of LaBaye. #LaBayeMuZik Can You Feel It ?<\/p>\n
