Non-Pariel Pre Primary School in St. Mark was the recipient of a 20-inch gas cooker and twelve\u00a0 20lbs gas cylinders, thanks to Hubbard\u2019s and SOL. This philanthropic gesture brought Christmas\u00a0 smiles to occupants of the learning institution, since they are now more equipped to provide hot\u00a0 meals, a crucial factor in a child\u2019s development.<\/p>\n
At a brief handing over session held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, Ms. Cox, Teacher in\u00a0 Charge, expressed her sincere gratitude to Hubbard\u2019s and SOL for the generous contribution;\u00a0 \u201cOn behalf of Non-Pariel Pre Primary School, I would like to say a grand thank you to Hubbard\u2019s\u00a0 and SOL for helping us with the transition from a firecracker to a cooker along with the energy\u00a0 to fuel it. There are two factors that I want to emphasize- firstly, the quick response from\u00a0 Hubbard\u2019s, and secondly, the additional package, that is the cooking gas from SOL. We are very\u00a0 grateful for the assistance from these companies, and I can assure you we will use this donation\u00a0 to enhance our lunch programme. We are so proud of you, and we realized that you all are into\u00a0 the development of the nation\u2019s children.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Anthony Phillip, Manager of Hubbard\u2019s Appliance Department, and Mrs. Kesha Charles,\u00a0 Marketing Manager of SOL, made the presentation. Mr. Phillip also emphasized Hubbard\u2019s\u00a0 commitment to giving back to communities; \u201cWe are more than happy today to present to Non Pariel preprimary school a 20-inch gas cooker. We know the importance of the gas cooker to any\u00a0 house or School, and we did not hesitate to assist when they came to us for assistance. As a\u00a0 company we know we need to give back to the organization, we need to give back to schools, we\u00a0 need to give back to the country. We know that the children are the future of the nation, and we\u00a0 should assist them in any way possible. We collaborated with SOL and SOL was more than\u00a0 happy to work with us in this venture.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Kesha Charles, Marketing Manager at SOL shared; \u201cToday SOL is elated to partner with\u00a0 Jonas Brown & Hubbard in enhancing the ability of the school in providing hot meals for the\u00a0 students. SOL\u2019s contribution today is a supply of 1-year worth of cooking gas towards the school\u00a0 feeding program.\u201d<\/p>\n
